Cottage Home Block Party is a Halloween-themed party held between the 700 blocks of Dorman Street and Highland Avenue, just south of East St. Clair Street. The party takes place on the streets, in the playground and community space, with a backdrop that includes the stately1890 Ruskaup Mansion, designed by Vonnegut & Bohn, as well as several Victorian-era cottages sprinkled throughout.

We'll have music by local musicians on two stages, local artists and other vendors peppering the well-lit and highly decorated event space.

Food, beer, and wine will be available from a variety of vendors.

Children of all ages are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes.

This magical event is FREE to the public; however, for those who can afford it, a suggested donation of $5.00 helps pay for event expenses, entertainment, and future neighborhood projects. Proceeds will go toward the continued development of Cottage Home’s community space, beehive, green gathering space and gardens (including vegetables, herbs, wildflowers and fruit trees), all of which will bring a unique rural-meets-urban atmosphere for residents and friends of Cottage Home to enjoy well into the future.
