We’re a hodge-podge of Hoosiers with an affinity for beautiful old trees.
Home of ancient Chinquapin Oaks that have been around since before Indiana was a state, we’re located two miles east of downtown, and border one of the largest and most beautiful green spaces in Center Township - Spades and Brookside Parks where you can spy the occasional blue heron, owl, or fox.
Our transitioning neighborhood is a mix of new contemporary development and charming historic homes covering many design styles including italianate and craftsman.
A common observation from newcomers is how welcoming and engaging the neighborhood feels, and how easy it is to know your neighbor and get involved. We organize porch parties, pie nights, clean-ups, and a few large events.
